Sending late tonight as I was busy all day at Restecher Capital Markets Day (recap coming soon). Also, curious to see how sending late impacts open rates while people aren’t at the office.

Since last post we’ve seen 5 acquisitions, 8 funding rounds ($320.1M raised), 13 people moves & promotions, 5 roles ($154K average salary), 1 article, and 5 newly added upcoming events.

• Datadog acquired Metaplane (data observability).

• DeHavilland acquired Newsdirect (political and policy intelligence).

• Feedzai acquired Demyst (Data-as-a-Service).

• S&P Global acquired ORBCOMM’s Automatic Identification System (AIS) data services business.

• Tonic acquired Fabricate (synthetic data).

• Alpaca (brokerage platform) raised $52M in a Series C.

• Dataminr (real-time event and risk detection) received a $100M investment from Fortress Investment Group.

• HelloSky (talent intelligence) raised $5.5M in a Seed round.

• Listen Labs (AI-powered customer research platform) raised $27M in a Series A led by Sequoia Capital.

• Ocient (hyperscale data warehouse) raised $42.1M in a Series B Extension

• Recce (data transformation tools) raised $4M in a round led by Heavybit.

• Reducto (document parsing for LLMs) raised $24.5M in a Series A led by Benchmark.

• Windfall (people intelligence) raised $65M in a Series B led by Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital.
