The Proptech Cloud is an independent knowledge hub curating property content and data listings. It is powered by Data Army in collaboration with Snowflake, and has listings such as address fabric, polygon/geometries, construction activity, demographics, foot traffic, weather, and POI data from many providers including Carto, CoreLogic, geoTribes, Precisely, SafeGraph, Techsalerator, Unacast, and Weather Source.
Cybersyn announced the launch of a Company Index, initially applied to their SEC Filings dataset. The product helps users join companies, subsidiaries, and brands together in a hierarchy, aggregating common company identifiers including CIK, EIN, LEI, PermID, and OpenFIGI. And if a new security master wasn’t already the best part, it’s all available for free on Snowflake!
AltHub launched a new AI-powered data monetization platform, AltLab360, which transforms raw data into ready-to-use datasets. AltLab360 helps data providers explore multiple use cases, craft market signals, and validate the value of their data. The toolset equips data providers with ticker mapping and backtesting capabilities, as well as sales tools through their Prospector module for effective data marketing. 30 laws that explain the world. My favorites below. Thanks Will Bachman for sharing.
Hofstadter's Law: It always takes longer than you expect, even when you take into account Hofstadter's Law.
Hanlon's Razor: Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.
Terman's Law of Innovation: If you want a team to build a ship, don't drum up people to collect wood and assign tasks, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.
Cole's Law: Thinly sliced cabbage
