How bourgeoisie

The tech bros are gonna be livid about this one. “BUt WiTH Ai…”

Missed a week of posting - been slammed with conferences, client onboarding, speaking engagements, and cleaning up a lot of bad data. Did anything happen? Are Donald and Elon still going to carpool to my birthday? Did you figure out who The Terminalist is yet?

Since last post we’ve seen 13 acquisitions, 19 funding rounds ($1.05B raised), 1 new company, 20 people moves & promotions, 13 roles ($200K average salary), 4 articles, 2 podcasts, 1 Intern SZN poll, and 1 newly added upcoming event.

New Company Alert

Acqwired is a deal sourcing operating system that emerged from stealth last week. The platform helps private equity investors identify and engage with high-fit acquisition targets more efficiently. By automating time-intensive manual tasks, the system enables investment professionals to focus on building relationships and closing deals rather than managing databases and CRMs.

Acqwired is founded by Dan Herr, former VP at Serent Capital and Co-Host of the Deal Sourcery Podcast, and Irfan Durmus, former Chief Software Architect at ESG Capital. For more info, check out the launch announcement here.
