Paid Subscribers?
Could be you!
Thank you to the hundreds of subscribers and thousands of readers, especially those who bought subscriptions before we created paid content. It has been amazing to see the readership and know that this newsletter is contributing to the industry and so many individuals. Especially delighted to hear from those who have found new jobs based on the Who’s Hiring section each week, and others who noted using the market map in their investment decks and strategy sessions.
It may be ironic given the nature of how so much data is collected, but I don’t operate with the “if the product is free, you are the product” mindset. I will continue to contribute M&A, fundraising, and people moves news for free, but am going to start pay-walling deeper dive content, such as
new company and product launches
polls (results of which you can use in your market analysis and to justify that new product launch to your CEO)
market maps (there are more on the way)
lists (i.e. top 10 people in data, top 20 new companies to watch)
and more…
I’m not going to go all Netflix on anyone just yet and start restricting sharing, but my ask of the community is to sign up for a paid subscription. For a limited time I’m offering 25% off, and I’ve included some reasons to subscribe below. Also, these memes don’t make themselves (well, 50% do, but the other 50% is what takes the most time each week).

Street cred
A tree may be planted in your name in the future #ESG
A whole month is less than half the price of a regular iced coffee at any hotel in Miami (after fees, tax, automatic tip). But seriously, I had an $18 dollar iced coffee, WTF
There is paid-only content coming soon, starting with the final market map
I won’t ask if you want to tip 25%, 30%, 35%
You can probably put it on your corporate card (I’ll leave that to you to determine though)
But really this is a way for people who appreciate my work to support & sustain It’s Pronounced Data.
