Raising Cannes
Cannes Ligers

Since last post we’ve seen 4 M&A deals, 5 funding rounds, 1 new company, 6 people moves & promotions, 11 roles, 1 (big) legal & regulatory matter, 4 articles, and 1 poll. I posted about roles (and Cannes) here and apparently yacht pics got the algorithm on my side with 148 likes as of this publication. Check it out and please comment any roles your team is hiring for.
This week brought to you in partnership with Brickroad. Check out their latest report below and let me know if you’d like an intro.

The frontier doesn't wait. Neither should your sourcing.
As Part 1 of The Data Multiplexer, a three-part series on agentic data provisioning, Brickroad published Neither Alone, Both in Sequence: Human-Agent Collaboration, Intellect, and the Information Frontier
The best alpha is found outside the catalogs. With Brickroad's Information Frontier Agent, put your discovery on autopilot and find companies generating data before they come online.
Now with Streaming, Brickroad's agents never stop looking. Pick a vertical and let your discovery agent deliver a continuous flow of new suppliers at the information frontier. Each source arrives with inferred datasets, supplier history, procurement feasibility, verified contacts, and mapped tickers — grounded and ready for outreach.

New Company Alert

Quorum is the intelligence layer for the independent voices shaping public markets. The premise (which I agree with and see with my own newsletter) is that most critical market analysis no longer originates on sell-side desks. It lives in a fragmented ecosystem of independent analysts, investors, and researchers publishing directly to their audiences. The company is founded by Zach Hascoe (prior Robinhood, Say Technologies, WisdomTree) who published the launch note here.
