Since last post we’ve seen 8 acquisitions, 10 funding rounds ($10.53B raised - thanks Databricks), 20 people moves & promotions, 1 “Fun With Data”, 12 roles including 4 corp dev ($251K average salary), 4 articles, 1 podcast, 1 partnership, 1 legal matter, 2 newly added upcoming events (one mixes data and skiing), and memes moved to Instagram (I’ll leave one here each week at the bottom - this week it’s a fund’s holiday video).

I’m starting to work with advertisers as it helps fund the creation and maintenance of this newsletter. It is greatly appreciated if you could click their links and check out their offerings. This week is in partnership with Confluence VC.

Fun With Data

Day by Data is a new app from Pete Cybriwsky that transforms your everyday data into beautiful visualizations and personalized art pieces, making each moment a story worth sharing. I looked into my step data and created the fun visuals above. This also let me know that I’m just shy of 10,000 steps/day average, so if anyone wants to go for an insanely long walk over the next few days, let me know! For more info on the launch, check out Pete’s Substack article here: Launch of Day by Data.
