About Last Night (Week)
A week of more than one expert network event? Unheard of until this past week. Changing Landscape of Primary Research was hosted by Bloomberg with a great discussion featuring Christian Nikolay (Head of Content Acquisition Americas at Bloomberg), John Belton (PM at Gabelli Funds), Marc Harris (Director of Research at Evercore), Josh Maxey (Co-Founder at Third Bridge), and Mike Grubert (MD, Head of Equities and Credit at Third Bridge).
Then it was over to Raymond James’s patio for a GLG Alumni CEO/Founder Panel. The panel featured Alexander Saint-Amand (CEO & Co-Founder of Topography Health), Eric Jaffe (CEO of BCA Research), and Julian Flannery (CEO & Co-Founder of Summus), and was moderated by Rajeev Shah (Former SVP at GLG).
The Week Ahead
Austin is the hot spot this week with FISD’s World Financial Information Conference. There’s a happy hour in Boston on Wednesday hosted by Alkymi on Applied AI Strategies for Private Markets. Across the pond in London the data & analytics community is gathering for Big Data LDN. I’ll be at Emporia Research and Fieldwork’s event, Empower Your Research, tonight in NYC.
